Coming February 2011 is the launch of a new magazine called Tea Party Review, the first national magazine by, for and about the Tea Party Movement. The editor is Steven J. Allen. I don’t know much about the publication having just learned about it this morning but if you’re interested in checking it out go here:

Tax Day Tea Party Hires Former ACORN Employee
Liberty First PAC, TaxDayTeaParty.com and the Patriot Caucus is very excited
to announce that Anita MonCrief, a former ACORN employee and whistle
blower of the organization, will be joining our team as national
spokesperson!
Anita, a former self-described liberal, has spent the past year working hard
to advance the ideas and principles of liberty. She’s served on our advisory
committee for most of 2010, and she’s been a vital part of what we do.

For those who do not know the back story on Anita MonCrief, you can watch
one of her appearances on Fox News that was taped while she was testifying
against ACORN.

Tax Day Tea Party is raising money to run ads in support of the Republican Charles Djou who faces a divided Democrat party in Hawaii. Apparently the national Democrats can’t decide which Democrat to get behind. This is a good sign for taking that seat.

FORMATION OF THE NATIONAL TEA PARTY FEDERATION
The formation of this new organization was announced last week. Members of the Virginia Tea Party Patriots Federation, of which The John Adams Patriots are a part, have been in discussions with this national level organization. The intention is to form an umbrella group similar to the type of structure we already have at the state level in Virginia. Each Tea Party/Patriot group that joins this organization will remain autonomous.

A broad coalition of national and regional Tea Party groups have announced the formation of the National Tea Party Federation (NTPF). The NTPF is established to create a unified message and media response amongst key leadership and their affiliates. At the same time, the NTPF will act as a clearinghouse and to prepare leadership to promote the Tea Party movement’s objectives of:

•Fiscal Responsibility
•Constitutionally Limited Government
•Free Markets

Media speculation is that this is a step toward creating a third party. This is not true.
